Freeland Fire

Fire crews in Freeland on the scene of a two alarm fire in that community Monday night.
Fire crews from Freeland and neighboring communities were called to 9-11 Washington Street -- the Daniel Coxe Memorial Senior Citizen Center -- just before ten o`clock.
Mayor Tim Martin tells us the center was last occupied Monday afternoon.
Crews believe the fire started in the kitchen.. no one was inside at the time...And no injuries....but the building is gutted....the fire is under investigation.
