Priest To Be Tried On Sex Charges

Father Albert Liberatore will be tried on allegations he had an inappropriate relationship with a teenage boy starting in 1999. The boy told investigators he spent several nights a week sleeping over at the rectory at the Sacred Heart Church in Duryea where Liberatore was the pastor. He is already facing similar charges in Lackawanna County, and New York City for his alleged relationship with the same teen. Liberatore denies all the charges.
