Police say a Luzerne County man, who was supposed to be assessing homes for the county`s ongoing reassessment project admits, he stole from one of those homes. 28 News has learned that Sugarloaf Township Police arrested 22 year-old Scott Grasso of Pittston. Officer Tommy Brown told me tonight that Grasso admitted he stole gasoline and tools from a home on West County Road today. The homeowner called police, after Grasso allegedly admitted to him that he took the items. Grasso asked that property owner not to call police, he did, and Grasso was arrest Monday afternoon. Grasso works for a company hired by Luzerne County to reassess properties all over the county. Grasso was released on his own recognizance. He`ll have a hearing on October 20TH.
