Well Water Testing

By: Import User
Updated: January 25, 2007
Homeowners in Lackawanna county have a chance to get their well water tested for free. Agents from the Lackawanna county conservation district say they`ve secured a state grant to test wells in the county for anyone who fills out an application... but time is running out. Watershed experts say many homeowners don`t realize that the recent storms could have affected groundwater that makes its way into wells. The state grant will allow the agency to check for basic contamination for free if you register by this coming Sunday. Those who do will get a kit in the mail and you`ll get results in a couple of weeks. To have your well tested, call the conservation district.
