At West Scranton high school, they`re trying to solve serious heating problems before the temperatures drop. The school`s boilers haven`t been able to provide enough heat when outside temperatures hit single digits and the school was forced to close several times. Superintendent Michael Sheridan says the district is trying to avoid those problems this year. Monday they`ll open the bids for a new heating system to be installed. He believes it will be up and running before the weather gets too cold.
