Father Paul Wierichs at Saint Ann`s basilica in Scranton knows he will never forget, September 11th, 2001. He was working as an FBI chaplain in New York city that day, and knows first hand the horror people experienced. He lost several friends and colleagues. "I don`t want to forget this. I think it`s important we remember, that we remember how people went to work on a beautiful day and many of them did not come home." Father Wierichs will hold a memorial service at St. Ann`s Saturday. The public is invited to attend. At 1pm, a group of New york city firefighters, local firefighters, law enforcement and bagpipers, will parade up Saint Ann`s street and then take part in that service. A chicken BBQ will be held afterwards. Proceeds will go to the widowers of 9/11.
