Four out of five people can control their epileptic seizures with medication. But for that fifth person there wasn`t much hope for a normal lifestyle, until now. Researchers are testing a new device called Neuropace, which is supposed to detect a seizure and stop it before it occurs. Doctors pinpoint where in the brain the seizure comes from, implant a computer chip in the skull, and wait for a seizure. So far, the device has not been proven to work 100-percent, but doctors are optimistic it`ll become an option for patients at risk for surgery. For more information click on the link.
