Weatherly Police Chief Under Investigation

A Carbon county police chief is on paid leave while he remains the target of a state investigation. The attorney general`s office says the bureau of narcotics began investigating Weatherly police chief Brian Cara several months ago and searched his offices yesterday. They did not say what, if anything, was found. Weatherly borough officials will appoint an officer in charge of the police department while Cara remains off the job until the investgation is complete.
