Updated: January 25, 2007
A new, $6,000 dollar computer system- is tracking violators and repeat offenders who haven`t paid tickets. Notices are being sent to your home. About 5-hundred notices went out on Monday and already the computer system has paid for itself ten-fold. "Before we instituted this program we collected approximately 9-hundred dollars a day in parking tickets now since we sent out the warning notices we`re averaging approximately 5-thousand dollars a day." Some people have fines totaling thousands of dollars. Payment plans will be considered.
