Linden, Lycoming County- Stuck in the middle of a standoff, concerned neighbors reached out to Eyewitness News about a man barricaded in a mobile home. Will Guinter and Jay Edkin said they were in the area of 258 South Pine Road around 5:30 p.m. Friday when an army of state police troopers arrived to a location some 20 yards from a garage where they were working on a car.

Both said three SWAT trucks and three snipers were just walking around. A negotiator could be heard in the background giving orders over a bullhorn. Guinter said he previously heard two "flash bangs" before he spoke with Eyewitness News.

A third went off while he was speaking to an Eyewitness News reporter. "That was crazy," said Guinther. The state police negotiator was overheard saying, "You could pick up the phone or come out. Pick up the phone --- you're not helping yourself, you're not helping anybody."

Efforts to reach state police were unsuccessful.

Neighbors said the area has been shut down ever since 5:30 p.m..

At times, the negotiator was heard telling the barricaded man, "you're not talking to the right people," a reference that he may have been talking to a reporter on the phone.

It's unclear what brought police out to the location in the first place. Stay with Eyewitness News for the very latest on this breaking news.
