Williamsport played first place Mahoning Valley tonight at Bowman Field.
Big night for Crosscutters DH Francisco Marillo going 2-4 with 2 home-runs leading Williamsport to a 8-3 win.
Crosscutters were winning 3-0 in the 6th when Scrappers Kyle Bellows tied the game with a 3-run home run. The Crosscutters answer in the bottom of the 6th with a solo shot from Murillo.
Bottom of the 7th, Sebastian Valle's solo home run creates breathing room for the Crosscutters.
They continue their series with the Scrappers tomorrow at Bowman Field. -
