Hi friends, time for what's up with that Wednesday? My take on the hot sports topic of the week.. what's up with the NBA? I can't believe I'm saying this but it's watchable again for me, and I'm enjoying it! Back in the day the NBA on NBC was a "must see".. Lakers-Celtics, Magic and Isiah Thomas, then Michael Jordan, everyone watched. Now the NBA playoffs are on cable channels, if you find them you will enjoy the games.
The NBA has always been about stars and they have two huge stars right now. Lebron James and Kobe Bryant. It would be the NBA's best chance to get back their ratings if these two met in the finals, the NBA could make a complete comeback and have TV ratings soaring again. If the NBA gets what they want... King James against the Black Momba.
That doesn't look like it's going to happen, we are finding out the NBA has more then just two stars. The games have been unbelievable buzzer beaters, upsets, you name it. Denver against Orlando is not the NBA finals, the NBA is so close from being back on top, all they need is the Cavs.vs. the Lakers, Lebron vs. Kobe.
I will be watching the officials to see if they don't try to make that happen. The NBA is worth watching and is enjoyable again, for me anyway. That's this weeks what's up with that?
