Wednesday, Aug 27, 2008 @10:30am EDT Good Housekeeping suggests some red-hot and green products on the market today.
Todd Kent of Good Housekeeping said, “There are a lot of portable charger products on the market for your portable I-Pod’s, cell phones, and cameras, but the Hymini’s Miniwiz is unique. It uses green energy. You can charge it’s battery with wind power, or you can connect the solar panel and charge it in the sun.” This mini green charging device is good for the planet and can be a life-saver too. “In our tests, we were able to get an hour and 45 minutes additional charge just leaving the solar panel in the sun for 20 minutes," he said. And Good Housekeeping’s Engineers say the unusual, wireless Kensington Slimblade Media Notebook can help you in tight spaces. “The unique thing about this wireless keyboard is that it’s number pad is detachable. So if you don’t have a lot of space at your desk, you can just store it in your drawer," he added. And the keyboard is versatile in more ways than one. “You can switch (the number pad) to the left hand side, or right. Or you can just use the number pad in itself," said Kent. ![]() |
