MOOSIC, LACKAWANNA COUNTY --Moosic-based Old Forge Pizza Express has started selling its pizzas in numerous "Make and Take Gourmet" stores in New York state. The Syracuse-based company has two dozen franchises and it expects to sell the Old Forge Pizza product in most of those, including in some western states. Old Forge Pizza Express has five franchises in our area and one in Colorado.

WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY --Downtown Wilkes-Barre has a new restaurant. Thai Thai serves Thai specialities like Pad Thai and Drunken noodle. The authentic Thai restaurant, located in the Midtown Village is owned by natives of Thailand and is open Monday through Saturday.

The Woodhouse has 24 locations including one on Wyoming Avenue in Kingston. The business competed against thousands of other day spas throughout the country and was judged number one by the premier magazine of the dayspa industry.

HONESDALE, WAYNE COUNTY --Almost two years after fire destroyed the Rusty Palmer showroom in Honesdale, the new building is nearing completion. The company tells us the 250 thousand square foot building in Texas Township, Wayne County should be complete by late spring or early summer. The company sells motorcycles, ATVs and more.
