The innovative, Blue Wireless service will open 16 locations in our area Friday --like this one on Wyoming Avenue, Kingston. Customers can sign up for unlimited regional cell calling for a flat monthly fee of $29.99. The region stretches from Buffalo, NY to Northeastern Pennsylvania. Long distance plans cost more. But with blue wireless, there are no contracts.

Geisinger Growing

Some doctors' offices in Lackawanna County will soon be moving. Geisinger has signed a deal to buy almost 12 acres in the Glenmaura Corporate Center off Glenmaura National Boulevard. A new Geisinger Medical Group building will go up there to replace current facilities in Scranton and Moosic. The $15.2 million dollar project should be completed in two years.

Dinner A’Fare

Nearby at the Shoppes at Montage, a business to help feed busy families has just opened. The Dinner A'Fare helps customers make healthy home-cooked meals in a couple hours. Reserve a cooking time, and choose up to 12 meals from a menu. You prepare them on site, take them home and freeze or cook them. It costs about $3 a serving.

Law Firm Celebrates a Century

In the Poconos, they're celebrating a law firm's longevity. Bensinger and Weekes on Sarah Street in Stroudsburg is marking 100 years in business. Alex L. Bensinger and his daughter Elizabeth run the firm. Bensinger says "we're very pleased and proud that we've had continuing service to the community --Poconos for all those years." Alex's father opened the practicing when he passed the bar in 1907.
