BENTON, COLUMBIA COUNTY -Antique enthusiasts have a new upscale place to shop in Columbia County. The Bakery Antique Company opened its doors at 230 Main Street in Benton. The center features over 40 exhibitors on three floors in this century- old former bakery building. You can find thousands of antiques including furniture, stoneware, lighting, china, and jewelry. There's also an in-house restaurant --Kristie's Kafe. The Bakery Antique Center is open Thursday through Monday from 10 to 5 in Benton.


BERWICK, COLUMBIA COUNTY -The Berwick -based First Keystone National Bank is getting bigger. It's merging with Pocono Community Bank --a deal valued at $33.6 million. Pocono Community Bank officers say the merger will provide their customers with more services. Right now First Keystone has ten offices in Montour, Columbia and Luzerne Counties. The merger will add four more branches in Monroe County. The deal should be finalized by year's end.


WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY -Good news for downtown Wilkes-Barre --a new stylish business has moved to town. Urbane Hair Studio opened May 11th at 34 S. Main St. Cheryl Fedor and her husband own the salon that's open Tuesdays through Saturdays. Cheryl offers hair cutting, styling, coloring, extensions, and chemical services.


SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY -After fifteen years on Lackawanna Avenue, the state's largest Lionel Train dealer will roll out of downtown Scranton. Grzyboski Train Store is moving its shop and two warehouses to a new ten thousand square foot building under construction. It's at Glenmaura National Boulevard and Route 502 in Moosic. Joe Grzyboski, Jr. says a lack of parking, unsightly sidewalks and skateboarders convinced him to leave the city. Expect the move early next year.
