HAZLETON, LUZERNE COUNTY-The auditorium inside the former Hazleton High School is one step closer to becoming a performing arts center.
Known has the castle, work is underway to transform it into a place for the arts.
Today, castle auditorium committee receive a $100,000 check .
It was from the family of Alice Wiltsie, a 1920 graduate.
The new center will be named after her.
Hazleton school district is kicking in $1.2 million, the Castle Auditorium committee needs to raise another $1.2 million dollars to finish the restoration.
