Reported by: Eyewitness News Tuesday, Nov 3, 2009 @11:20pm EST WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY -- Judge Peter Paul Olszewski, seeking retention as Common Pleas Judge, was rejected by Luzerne County voters by nearly 10 percentage points.
Eyewitness News spoke exclusively to Judge Olszewski. He says he holds his head high after 18 years of county service in the District Attorney's office and as judge. When asked about the controversy surrounding a picture leaked to the media that included himself with ex-judge Michael Conahan, Olszewski replied, "That's an argument for another time." Meanwhile Judge Thomas Burke was retained by a wide margin. |
