WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY --It's a series generations in the making. The Fightin' Phils versus the Bronx Bombers. “Phillies all the way!" "I've been die hard Yankees fan my whole life."

But which would you choose? Cheering on your team with thousands of other rowdy fans at the stadium? Or relaxing on the sandy shores of the tropics?

“Would they be good seats?" Nope. According to stubhub.com --the cheapest ticket for game three will run about 400 bucks. And that doesn't even include a seat, parking, food or drinks. “It's a little excessive." Brooke Wilk says “families don't even have a chance to go to game anymore."

In fact for about the cost of the cheapest ticket, you could be sipping margaritas in Cancun. Beth Savage of Vacation Station says “air fare, 3 nights lodging, all inclusive, meals, drinks tax tips for $499 per person. How does that compare to world series tickets? I'd rather be in Mexico."

But fans would surely choose the game, right? Jordan Nicholas says “I've been a die hard Yankee fan but you'll probably catch me in Cancun before you see me in World Series."

Phillies fan Kristen Gazowski “You can go to Cancun anytime. But you can never go to World Series twice with Phillies and Yankees."

So does that mean Phillies fans are more dedicated or just crazier? Phillies fans agree they are crazy for the Phillies.
