Sunday, Sep 27, 2009 @11:02pm EDT The Pittsburgh Penguins have assigned goaltender John Curry to the
club’s top minor-league affiliate in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American
Hockey League, it was announced today by Executive Vice President and General
Manager Ray Shero.
The moves leave the Penguins with 28 players remaining in training camp; 17 forwards, nine defensemen and two goaltenders. Pittsburgh has until Sept. 30 to reduce its active roster to 23 players before heading into the regular season. Curry won 33-games last season with the Penguins top AHL Affiliate. |
