Contestants are encouraged to download and complete the Registration Form to bring to audition.

Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009.

Registration: Noon – 12:30pm

12:30-2pm: Live On Stage Auditions in Theater

Auditions will take place from 12:30 to 2pm. The judges will accommodate as many people as possible within that time frame.

Each Contestant is required to Sing a Verse from “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” acappella.

No Contestant is allowed to play an instrument or have accompaniment of any kind including recorded music and musical instruments.

Please no live Totos! Unfortunately, there are no live animals allowed.

Contestants will be given a numerical score from 0 to 10 by three judges.

The contestant with the highest scores wins the Grand Prize.

The contestant with the second highest score wins the Runner-Up Prize.

Who Can Enter

Entrants must be U.S. residents who are 18 years of age or older. You must be a resident of or active military stationed in Luzerne, Lackawanna, Wyoming, Wayne, Susquehanna, Bradford, Sullivan, Lycoming, Union, Clinton, Columbia, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder, Schuylkill, Pike, Tioga, Carbon and Monroe.

Employees of WYOU, WBRE, Nexstar Broadcasting, Mission Broadcasting; participating sponsors, their parent companies, subsidiaries, their affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate family members of each are ineligible.

How To Enter

To Play: Log on to PAHomePage.com, visit Contests & Promotions, click on the Do You Think You Can Sing Like Dorothy? Contest and follow the instructions to enter.

No purchase is necessary to enter. Entrants may only enter one time. Attempts to make multiple entries may result in the disqualification of entrant. Entering a false name, alias, false address or false email address may lead to disqualification and may bar entrant from participation in future WBRE contests.

One or more contests may be announced from time to time. More than one contest may run simultaneously. PAHOMEPAGE, WYOU, WBRE, Nexstar Broadcasting or Mission Broadcasting are not responsible for e-mail system failure or other inability of entrants to submit their entry.

All entries received from ineligible entrants will be void.

By submitting an entry, each contestant gives permission to PAHOMEPAGE, WBRE and WYOU to use any portion of the entry on air without further compensation. If you win the grand prize, you must sign a release to allow us to use your name, picture or likeness for purposes of future WYOU/WBRE contest promotions without further compensation. All entries become the property of Nexstar Broadcasting, Inc.

The Prize(s)

Grand Prize: Dinner for 4 at Café Toscana, 4 Tickets to See Wizard of Oz on November 21st and a Bonus 2 Tickets to Michael McDonald Christmas and Greatest Hits Show on December 18th!

Runner-Up Prize: 4 Tickets to Wizard of Oz.

Winners must provide their correct name, address, and telephone number, and sign a release and affidavit of eligibility, before prize is released. Participating sponsor, WBRE, WYOU or Nexstar Broadcasting is not responsible for the delivery of prize.

If any winner does not timely return the affidavit of eligibility, that prize will be awarded to an alternate winner.

Prize is not transferable for cash. No substitution, transfer or assignment of prizes allowed. Sponsors reserve the right to substitute a comparable prize of like or greater value, including cash, for any prize, for any reason.

The winner is responsible for paying all local, county, state and federal taxes on prizes based on the estimated retail value of the prizes as set forth in these rules.

Only one prize per contest will be awarded per household.

Odds of winning depend on the number of correct entries received.
