News Director

NBC affiliate in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton seeks an experienced News Director to lead an accomplished news department. Will be responsible for the overall supervision and development of the news department. Individuals with the ability to lead, motivate and teach are encouraged to apply. Duties will include, but are not limited to, brand management, daily story selection, news promotion and website content. Responsible for shaping future news content direction, helping direct news coverage and news gathering. Will be a key member of the station management team. Candidates must be detail-oriented and exceptionally well-organized. Must possess a positive attitude, take initiative and be problem-solvers.
