Children's Miracle Network at Geisinger helps make miracles happen every day at Janet Weis Children's Hospital, Geisinger Wyoming Valley and Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre, and more than 40 medical groups and pediatric specialty outreach clinics throughout a 31-county area. A nonprofit organization, it has raised more than $39 million for pediatric services, equipment and programs throughout Geisinger Health System since 1984. Meet The Kids



Sophie Bender, 7
Stillwater
Sophie was born without a pulse and underwent nearly 20 minutes of resuscitation to revive her.

Megan Brace, 5
Dunmore
Megan was admitted to the pediatric intensive care unit with one of the most severe cases of bacterial meningitis possible.


Ashley Heffner, 15
Swoyersville
Ashley has a rare form of muscular dystrophy and is cared for by almost every department at Janet Weis Children’s Hospital.

Braeden Ross-Kline, 7
McClure
Braeden was 3 when he was diagnosed with a cancer of the soft tissues. At Stage IV, the tumors were located throughout his left side.

Kylie Thomas, 14
Catawissa
Kylie went into cardiac arrest while in school and required heart surgery and implantation of a defibrillator.
