Albrightsville, Carbon County- More than 140 daring people endured sub-freezing temperatures and near zero wind chills for a fundraising plunge in Carbon County.
Tim Kelchner and Monica Madeja  were among those who braved the icy elements at the 13th annual "Pocono Polar Bear Plunge".
The water at Henning Pond in Albrightsville was so frigid that crews had to cut through more than four inches of ice to clear an opening for plungers.
Proceeds from the Pocono Polar Bear Plunge benefit the "Make a Wish Foundation."

Congratulations Monica and Tim. You jumped in the icy waters. Better than the Mr Snediker person on the other station that wouldn't even return the email with yes or no, Thank you. "Make a Wish " thanks you both.
