Learn to "Feed the Birds" at Hawk Mountain program

Hawk Mountain Sanctuary will host a full-day "Feed the Birds" program from 11 am to 3 pm, Saturday, February 16. The event will include kids activities from noon to 2 pm, a guided winter bird walk at 1 pm, two live raptor programs at 11 am and 2 pm, free information on birdfeeders and bird seed, and a naturalist will be on hand to point out and identify birds at the feeder windows.

Visitors also will be treated to complimentary hot chocolate or bird-friendly, shade-grown coffee. Trail admission for those who wish to visit the lookouts will cost $6 for adults, $5 for seniors and $3 for children ages 6 to 12. Members receive free admission year round and memberships can be purchased at the Visitor Center or at www.hawkmountain.org.
