Plymouth Township, Luzerne County-- Jason Papadoplos of Plymouth Township says he was stunned when he was told Bentley's Restaurant in Hanover Township was closing down just two weeks away from a baby shower he booked at the business. He told this reporter,"I heard it from friends not Bentley's and when I tried to get answers I could not. This was supposed to be a special day for my family and because of this it was sent into turmoil." Papadoplos said he received a letter from the owner of Bentley's saying he can expect a refund of his $500 but three months later he has not seen a penny. A spokesperson for the State Attorney General's Office of Consumer Affairs said the State is in mediation with the owner and legal action has not been taken at this point in time. The spokesperson urged any Bentley customer who is owed money to contact the Scranton Office of the State Attorney General. Attempts by Eyewitness News to contact the owner have been unsuccessful.
