Washington, DC - The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund (VVMF) and M.T. Publishing Company, Inc. of Evansville, IN have released All They Left Behind: Legacies of the Men and Women on The Wall. Published in commemoration of the 30th Anniversary of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial (The Wall) on the National Mall in Washington, DC, the hardbound book reveals the personalities, histories and courage of 61 individuals who gave their lives in service to our country during the Vietnam War.

A portion of the proceeds from the book benefits the Education Center at The Wall, a place on our National Mall where our military heroes' stories and sacrifice will never be forgotten. Of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their country, was Carol Drazba from Dunmore who was one of the first women killed in Vietnam.

The Education Center at The Wall, through the National Call for Photos campaign, will highlight photos of Carol as well as the other Pennsylvania veterans and soldiers who served and gave the ultimate sacrifice for their country. Of the 3146 Pennsylvania names on the Wall, only 2153 photos have been submitted.

"This book tells the story of the honor and sacrifice Carol gave for his country. Pennsylvania has done an exceptional job submitting photos of family, friends, and loved ones to the National Call for Photos."

"With their help we make sure all of the Natural States heroes will be featured in the Education Center," said Founder and President of VVMF Jan Scruggs.

All They Left Behind began with a question from a student to teacher and soon grew into a project to identify all of the Vietnam War dead from Dearborn, MI. After partnering with the VVMF in their Call for Photos project, Dearborn, Michigan teacher Lisa Lark was soon gathering photos and stories from all over the United States. All They Left Behind is the result of more than two years of research and over 500 interviews with Vietnam veterans and the friends and families of the men and women on The Wall. These 61 profiles, along with thousands of others, will be featured at the forthcoming Educational Center at The Wall.

The book is a large 9" x 12" format with 120 pages. It retails for $37.50 and is available through the publisher at 1-888-263-4702 or www.mtpublishing.com
