End of an Era for St. Therese Church in Wilkes-Barre

Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County-The former Saint Therese's  Church on Old River Road is now a pile of rubble.
    The church opened back in 1931
St. Therese parish   was part of a consolidation with St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception and St. Joseph Slovak parishes to form Our Lady of Fatima Parish

    The property were the church once stood is now for sale.
