The Gift of Warmth

By: Jayne Ann Bugda
Updated: January 11, 2013

Williamsport, Lycoming County-Participants and staff at Albright LIFE (Living Independently for Elders) made and donated 27 hats and 46 scarves to the Lycoming/Clinton Joinder Board recently. The donation was part of the Joinder Board's Christmas project, which helps provide needy children with cold weather apparel.

Pictured, from left, with the scarves and hats are LIFE participant Eva Roles, Cathy Bennett, gift coordinator for the Joinder Board Christmas project, and Jane Lynch, also a LIFE participant. Participants always look for ways to give back to the community, and the handmade hats and scarves were a much-appreciated contribution.
