School Districts Questioned About PSSA Tests

.In a letter sent to the School District on November 13th...The Department of Education says Hazleton had a high number of wrong to right answers on tests given in 2009-2010 and 2011
.and as a result in future PSSA Tests...Test administrators can not oversee a test given to his or her own students or proctor a student or students alone...
The letter also states..
"The department will be sending individuals to monitor the administration of future PSSA's at the district."
The Superintendent of Schools Dr. Frances Antonelli told the T-Team..they have already taken those steps on their own initiative and insists they found no evidence of cheating on the PSSA's
The Scranton School District was found to have cheated on some of the tests...The district has reprimanded 5 teachers and may fire another teacher for boosting a students scores on the PSSA's..
Late today the Hazleton Area School District released a statement saying it is being treated unfairly and asks -- if there is no evidence of cheating..then why is the district being monitored?
