Fugitive On the Run for Two Decades Found in Scranton

Scranton, Lackawanna County-A wanted sex offender in Florida was captured in Scranton, after being on the run for over two decades.
    Richard Verboys was caught in Scranton after being wanted for 24 years
    He was convicted of sexually assaulting a seven-year-old girl in Florida in the late 19-80's.
    He fled the area shortly after being sentenced.
    Verboys is awaiting extradition back to Florida.
