     Here's what we are working for Eyewitness News for   November 1, 2012.

      Welcome to November! Can you believe it is November 1st.


  Here is what's happening in the Pod Today and Nearby desks-   Today, the Producer Pod is enjoying leftover Halloween Candy-  Pumpkin Spice Hershey Kisses and Candy Corn.
    Our Assignment Editor Mike Remplewicz has a bottle of antacid sitting by him- he says it is not his! But being the Assignment Editor is not easy-he puts up with producers and reporters all day.
     
   
    
    Here is what we are working on for Eyewitness News.

  
  On PA Live-         Dave Becker is working on Election so Dawn Miller is your producer 

     .Primo Hoagies from Edwardsville will be in the PA Live Kitchen...They'll share with us the secret behind their succulent sandwiches like the "Badda Bing" and the "Nona Veg"!
    
    I have songs from West Side Story in my head-  that good because we'll get an inside look at "West Side Story" from the Broadway Theater League.  The musical is coming to the Scranton Cultural Center this weekend.
   There is a local actor  starring in the show.
   Plus - hear about a special fundraiser for the SPCA of Luzerne County this weekend called "Bone-Apetit!". 

  




  On Eyewitness News at 5-     Katherine Lachette is your Producer...

       Need some motivation to exercise when the weather gets chilly?  Katherine has an interesting story in today's Healthbeat.

         Do you want to ship a thank you card to America's Troops?  There will be information on this during the 5 pm

    Plus, warming stations are set up across the region for many people who are still without heat.


           

On Eyewitness News at Six-    Anthony  Dorunda   is steering the six tonight. 

           
The former president of Penn State is now facing criminal charges related to the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse scandal. TIm Curley and Gary Schulz are also facing additional charges.
    The I-Team's Andy Mehalshick in Harrisburg for this story.

   Laurie Monteforte is continuing her coverage of the power outages and clean up in the Poconos following Hurricane Sandy.
 





    On Eyewitness News at Seven on WYOU-  An update of all the day's news.  Plus, here is what else I, (Jayne Ann) will have for you.   

   Andy Mehalshick will have more on the charges filed against Graham Spanier, Tim Curley and Gary Shultz.
