Danville, Montour County-Terry McCormick is just one of the many people who spent this Tuesday cleaning up from Hurricane Sandy

"I found a tree over by the church over the side walk and into the borough property." said Terry McCormick of Danville
Aside from a few down trees like this one on East Market Street in Danville
and some power outages Tuesday's clean up after Sandy was minimal.
"Just a lot of wind and rain that's all like everybody else." added McCormick

Rita Inklovich, Executive director of Bloomsburg, Danville, & Berwick Red Cross told Eyewitness News

"We have wind damage, but it's relatively minor, so we've come out of this quite well."

But states like New York and New Jersey were not so lucky.

Flooding and wind damage has them looking for all the help they can get

"In our system we have volunteers who are willing to go down there make themselves available to go wherever they are needed and we will start that recruitment, in fact I'm sure it is going on right now." said Inklovich

So Red Cross volunteers from all over the country, including Columbia County will now head to the coast to clean up Monday night's mess.
