Kingston, Luzerne County-- Kingston Police say 36 year old Christopher Walsh from Dallas stole $6,000 from the Luzerne County Lightning Youth Basketball League. Walsh was one of three men who established the league which includes 16 teams with 160 boys and girls. The teams travel the state and nation playing games against other leagues as part of the A.A.U.--Amateur Athletic Union. Jack Robinson, one of the three co-founders of the Lightning said, "He was so arrogant when we asked him about the money just like he laughed coming in here today." Robinson and another co-founder of the league ,Curt Lloyd added, "I am very sad and disappointed because Chris was a friend and was someone we trusted." Walsh said nothing at his arraignment but according to arrest documents told league officials he may have sued the wrong debit card when he used league money.
