HERSHEY, Pa. - For the second straight game versus the Hershey Bears, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins rallied for a 2-1 overtime victory at GIANT Center. It was the fourth win in a row and ninth out of ten for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.

The Penguins found themselves in a similar situation as their last meeting against the Bears in the AHL Outdoor Classic on Jan. 20 - down 1-0 heading into the third period.

As he also did that day at Hersheypark Stadium, Riley Holzapfel knotted the game for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, shoving the puck out of a scrum in front of Dany Sabourin and across the goal line at 12:03.

The two teams would head through the remainder of regulation and into overtime, where the Penguins were awarded a power play with 1:15 left in the extra period.

After some great chances for the road team, Chad Kolarik lifted Wilkes-Barre/Scranton to victory with 10.8 seconds left on the clock as he rattled a one-timer off the far post and into the net.

The Bears took a 1-0 lead at 9:43 of the second period during a four-minute power play. Julien Broulliette fed Boyd Kane at the far circle for a snap shot that found its way past Penguins goalie Jeff Zatkoff.

Zatkoff turned aside 20-of-21 shots for his fourth consecutive win and has allowed only one goal in each of those starts. Sabourin made 37 saves for the Bears.

The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins head to Norfolk to face on Admirals on Friday, Feb. 8 at 7:30PM. Listen in on 102.3 the Mountain and AHLLive.com.
