Woman Hits Husband with Car

Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County - One woman is under arrest and her husband is in the hospital, after police say the she struck him with her car. Lisa Eckert of Mountaintop is in police custody. They say she hit her husband with her car in Wilkes-Barre along Hanover Street. In the process, she drove into the front of a double block home destroying the front deck. Her husband is in the hospital with a leg injury. Eckert is due back in court next week to face charges.
