Child Killed in ATV Crash

Towamensing Township, Carbon County - A child is dead after an ATV crash in Carbon County.
It happened Saturday afternoon in Towamensing Township.

State Police say a 31-year-old family member gave the 12-year-old boy a ride.

That's when the ATV crashed on a wooded trail near Strohl's Valley and Spruce Hollow Roads.

The boy died at the scene.
