Exit 178 B (Avoca) -Exit 180 (Moosic): northbound; Bridge Deck Repair & Patching Right Lane, Tuesday 9am-2pm
*Exit 188 (Dunmore/Throop) to Exit 194 (Clarks Summit) North: Motorists should be alert for lane shifts and alternating traffic patterns. This should not cause delays, but motorists are urged to use caution in the work zone.
*Exit 190 (Main Avenue) - South: The ramp from Main Avenue, Dickson City to I-81 South is NOW OPEN AND WILL REMAIN OPEN UNTIL JAN 4;
INTERSTATE 84:
Exit 20 West: (Greentown/Lake Wallenpaupack) to NY State Line westbound; alternating lane closures for pothole patching and crack sealing. M-W; 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

LACKAWANNA COUNTY
*SR 435 & SR 690 Moscow Borough Project - Rehabilitation of roadway - Anticipated completion, December 2012. Final paving will begin October 9-13, weather permitting.
*SR 2039 is closed between SR 315 and SR 2020 (Jumper Road) for a bridge replacement project.
*SR 3024 (Main Street) in Moosic is closed between Spring Street and Third Street with a detour for a repair on a county bridge. This is a long term closure.
*SR 4023 (Simerell Road), Bridge Replacement NOW OPEN!
LUZERNE COUNTY
*SR 93 (Broad Street Project) - The Broad St. Corridor project is progressing nicely. The new updated schedule has been released showing the progression of anticipated work until the project completion in 2013. West Hazleton will see curb and sidewalks completed from St. Francis to Madison Ave, and from Winters Ave. to Diamond Ave. (right side only) this year. Hazleton will see curbs and sidewalks completed from Diamond Ave. along the shopping center all the way to East St. near the Hospital (right side only). Drainage work will continue throughout the upcoming winter months (weather permitting) along the left side of the project. We have begun the complicated work at Poplar St. and Broad St. to eliminate the existing roadway bifurcation and expect to close Poplar St. at the intersection of Broad to all traffic. The Terrace section is starting to look like a completed project is progressing nicely.
*SR 1011, Pierce Street - Single lane, both directions - All traffic has been moved to the upstream half of the bridge, so crews can begin removing the existing deck on what are now the eastbound lanes. This pattern will be in place until late fall of 2012 when traffic will be moved to the downstream side of the bridge. Anticipated completion of this entire $6 Million project is May 2014. Motorists should allow extra time when travelling

This section of East Center Street will be closed until late fall 2012. Posted detour will be in place for duration of the project; Main Street to East Franklin St to SR 309.

WAYNE COUNTY
*SR 247 Creamton Drive- Pleasant Mount - Was limited to 1 truck; weight limit is now 15 ton; combo 27 tons - truck detour. Signs are now in place. Going north on 247 turn west on 371 to 3031 to 4008 to 247 (SR 4008: Lifting 10 ton weight limit off Road 4008)
SR 652 - Narrowsburg Bridge - In addition to AECOM's inspection activities on the Skinners Falls Bridge, AECOM's work with PennDOT will also include an in-depth inspection, load rating and the preparation of repair recommendations for the Narrowsburg Bridge which supports SR 0652 over the Delaware River between Wayne County, PA and Sullivan County, NY. This work will be performed by their sub-consultant Dewberry. During the course of the bridge inspection, AECOM anticipates the occasional use of a single lane traffic closure to inspect the above deck elements of the bridge. Ground and water based equipment will be used to inspect the below deck portions of the bridge to the maximum extent possible thereby minimizing the need for the lane closure.
The Narrowsburg Bridge is on a similar schedule with inspection activities beginning on November 12TH . Conservatively, work on the Narrowsburg bridge will extend to Nov 30TH (but Dewberry hopes to be completed early, say Nov 21ST). Dewberry will implement a single lane traffic closure in order to inspect the bridge deck and sidewalk. Dewberry anticipates the lane closure will only be required for two days (one day each to inspect each lane of the bridge deck.) Dewberry hopes to implement the single lane closures on November 14Th and 15TH but, based on the work flow, the lane closure may occur at any time during the inspection period.
*SR 4043 - Contractor has started construction of a new bridge on SR 4043 in Wayne Co. in the Village of Sherman. The work will include the building of a temporary road around the bridge. The contractor will then remove the existing structure that was mostly washed away during 2006 flooding. The new bridge is scheduled to be completed in August of 2013.
SR 1002 - Skinners Falls Bridge - AECOM is under contract with PennDOT District 4-0 to perform an in-depth bridge inspection and load rating as well as the preparation of rehabilitation recommendations for the Skinners Falls bridge which supports SR 1002 over the Delaware River between Wayne County, PA and Sullivan County, NY. At Skinners Falls Bridge, AECOM plans to implement the detour on a daily basis from 7AM to 5PM. The bridge will be open to traffic during nighttime, weekend, and holiday hours. AECOM plans to begin the inspection on November 12TH and the work will likely extend to November 30TH.
WYOMING COUNTY
*SR 1010 Wyoming County: rebuilding the bridge on 1010 at the intersection on RT92 north toward Nicholson and Lackawanna Trail School Rd. The bridge project will last for about two years. The bridge will be build next to the old bridge. Contractor will set up equipment starting June 4, 2012.
