West Hazleton police are searching for a robber who used a machete to hold-up a convenience store.

West Hazleton, Luzerne County- West Hazleton police are searching for a robber who used a machete to hold-up a convenience store.  Someone armed with a roughly 20-inch machete knife held-up the Puff 'n Stuff on North 4th Street.

 The robber entered the store around 10:30 a.m. Saturday tapped the cash register with the machete and took an unknown amount of money.  Police say a scarf covered the robber's face and the suspect didn't speak, so they're not sure if it's a man or woman who carried out the crime.
