Peggy Magagna, The doting grandmother..

To four year old Stone and his little sister two year old Saige , "I'm a very lucky woman." says Peggy,   Lucky in a lot of ways.

10 years ago she was diagnosed with breast cancer.

She got through it with a partial mastectomy, then in 2005 trouble with the other breast.  Between symptoms and a gut feeling that something just wasn't right.

"Strictly itching notes Peggy It was so itchy I could not stand it."

A second diagnosis of breast cancer, this time much more serious. Peggy went in for surgery a week before Christmas.

"I came home Christmas Eve Day. And Christmas morning I was down here to see what Santa Claus brought."

But there's more to her story. Between battling breast cancer another bombshell Peggy explains "2004 I took ill and I thought I had a bug because al my co-workers had a bug. Well, I didn't have a bug, I had colon cancer."

She's better now. Thankful for everyday and encouraging women to be vigilant about their health, "You many think it's something small, but so what mention it to your doctor. I mean you know you're body better than anyone."

And Peggy is living proof of that. "I think to myself, look what I would've missed. This is better than winning the lottery. Look at these little faces. I'm so happy with these two little people."
