On the eve of Super Bowl 46 in Indianapolis, a page on the New York Giants website is accidentally posted, announcing the team as champions.

Before it could be taken down, the page carried a headline that read, "The Giants are Super Bowl champions!" It included a link to game photos and to a site to buy championship gear.

The NFL says it's common for teams to create web pages in advance of the Super Bowl.

New York takes on the New England Patriots today at 6:29 p.m. Eastern.
